1. Can I open an eSavings account anytime? 
	* You can open an account online daily from 4:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. 
	
2. Will I still need to go to a branch to complete my Metrobank eSavings account opening? 
	* No need. Just complete the steps through the Metrobank App or Earnest Investment App. You will immediately receive your semi-verified Metrobank eSavings account details via email. 

3. Can I open a Metrobank eSavings account if I’m an OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker) assigned abroad? 
	* Yes, you can open a Metrobank eSavings account even while you’re abroad. Just make sure to: 
		* Enter your permanent Philippine address (as reflected on your valid ID) in the required fields during the application 
		* Use any accepted valid ID 
		* Provide an active Philippine mobile number 

4. What type of smartphone can I use to open Metrobank eSavings account? 
	* You can use any Android phone or iPhone that meets the following requirements: 
			&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;i. Android: Minimum of Android 8.0 (Oreo) 
			&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;ii. iOS: Minimum of iOS 12 
	* If your phone does not meet these requirements, the account opening option will not be visible. 

5. How long will it take to open my Metrobank eSavings account? 
	* The process takes around 10 minutes. If there are no issues with your application, you will receive a semi-verified account immediately. 
	* A semi-verified account has an incoming deposit limit and outstanding balance limit of PHP 30,000. 
	* A fully verified account has an incoming deposit limit of Php 200,000 per month, and the outstanding balance limit is uncapped. 

6. What do I need to do to get my account full verified? 
	* Nothing further is required. After you complete the application, we will review your submitted details within 2 banking days. 
	* If there are no discrepancies, you will receive a confirmation email once your account is fully verified. 
	* If there are discrepancies, you will receive an email from Metrobank with further instructions. 

7. I don’t want to use my own mobile number to open an account. Can I use my relative’s or friend’s number instead? 
	* No. For your account’s security, we strongly recommend using your own personal mobile number. 

8. How will I know if I was successful in opening the Metrobank eSavings account?  
	* You will see an on-screen confirmation that your eSavings account has been created, and you will receive an email from Metrobank containing your complete account details. 

9. I lost the original copy of my valid ID. Can I use a scanned copy instead? 
	* No. A scanned copy will not be accepted for online account opening. 

10. Is it possible to open a Joint OR/AND eSavings account? 
	* No. Metrobank eSavings accounts are for individual accounts only. We are working to offer this option in the future. 

11. Can I open multiple Metrobank eSavings accounts? 
	* No. You can only open one Metrobank eSavings account. 
 
12. I have an existing Metrobank Savings/Checking/Payroll account. Can I still open a Metrobank eSavings account? 
	* No, but you can still open a Metrobank savings account at any Metrobank branch.

1. How can I deposit money into my Metrobank eSavings account? 
	* You can fund your account through the following channels: 
		- Intrabank Fund Transfer 
		- Instapay 
		- PESONet 
		- Cash Accept Machine (CAM) or Cash Recycler Machine (CRM) 
		- Partner Pawnshops (Remit to Account) 
		- Remittance 

2. What happens if I deposit more than Php 200,000 in a month to my fully verified account?
	* If you exceed the monthly deposit limit, the incoming/deposit transaction will automatically be rejected. 

3. Can I request to increase my incoming/deposit transaction limit? 
	* No. Increase of transaction limits is not allowed. 
	* If you need higher limits, you may open a regular savings account at a Metrobank branch. 

4. Can I make outgoing financial transactions in the Metrobank Online/Mobile App immediately after account enrollment? 
	* No. There is a 24-hour cooling period before you can perform outgoing financial transactions (e.g., send/move money, pay bills, send load) through the Metrobank Online or Mobile App.

1. Can I request for a debit card? 
	* Yes, debit cards are available for fully verified Metrobank eSavings accounts. 
	* Email our customer support at onlineproductsupport@metrobank.com.ph and claim your debit card at your preferred branch. 
	* Please include the following in your email: 
		- Complete Name 
		- Last 4 digits of your account number 
		- Preferred branch for card pickup 
		- Date of pick-up 
	* The first debit card is free. A replacement card will cost PHP 150. 

2. What if I visit the branch without an appointment? Will they still accommodate me? 
	* Yes, walk-in requests will still be accommodated. 
	
3. Can I withdraw funds without a debit card? 
	* Yes. You can perform cardless withdrawals at any Metrobank or PSBank ATM via the Metrobank Mobile App or Metrobank Online (choose "Cardless Withdrawal"). 
	* You can also do over-the-counter transactions at any Metrobank branch. An OTC fee of PHP 150 applies. 

4. Can I request a Bank Certificate using my Metrobank eSavings account? 
	* Yes. Please send your request to onlineproductsupport@metrobank.com.ph. 
	* The certificate will be available for pick-up: 
		- Metro Manila: 3–5 banking days 
		- Countryside: 5–7 banking days
